Striped Secondary design

for my next design i decided i wanted to create another horizontal stripe as i felt this repeating structure was lacking within my collection. For this design i decided to use a variety of scale with my aliens. Despite being happy with the concept of this design because of the amount of hues within the trees and scale of the aliens i felt it needed to be refined.

Inspired by this design i decided to take the elements i felt were successful and rework it. For this i decided to make a dado rail design which would be printed onto wallpaper and just run through the centre of the wall horizontally. Overall i feel this design is a lot stronger than my previous and also adds variety to my collection.
